HønefossÅl. Engelsk film från förarhytten på Bergensbanen, utgiven 2006. 95 min. Utgivarens beskrivning:
Welcome back to Norway! We are going to undertake one of the worlds great railway journies: the 500 km from Norways capital Oslo to its second city Bergen. Part two of our run is along, strangely, the last part of the Bergensbanen to be completed. The railway was built from west to east and the original terminus was at Gulsvik on Lake Krøderen. There were waterway connections down the lake to the town of Krøderen, and then a railway to Vikersund and Drammen. So, its a run along the lake gently gaining height: 207 metres by Gol, 437 metres by Ål. While there is little snow on the line over this part of the run, there is plenty on the mountains around us - a sign of things to come! The programme is narrated, but there is also some wonderful informative chit-chat with the crew, who tell us what its like to drive the Bergensbanen in winter, and what to look out for along the way. Ål marks the halfway point of our journey and this is where the Bergen men take over.
