Comprehensive history of six narrow gauge railways in Pomerania, built during German rule. During WWII they were badly damaged and some were lifted and taken to the Soviet Union. After the war the province fell to Poland. The railways were rebuilt to uniform metre gauge, the old steam locomotives replaced by Px 48s, later by diesels. Two of the systems have survived as popular tourist railways.
The text is in Polish only with one page of German summary, but is very well illustrated with maps, track plans, photos (many in colour), line drawings, time tables etc. 296 pages A4, hb.
