This catalogue of the railway stations of Europe was the standard reference work for everyone engaged in shipping by rail. The main part lists the railways, distances and how each station was equipped for handling goods. An alphabetical index refers to the railways. It includes Russia, but not Greece, Great Britain, Portugal or Spain.
Many editions were published. This is a well preserved copy of the 40th edition, dated 1909, and the first after its founder Dr Koch passed away in 1901. 845 pages 16x25 cm, hb.
