The interesting history of the narrow gauge line Zwierzyniec-Bilgoraj in south-east Poland, originally built as a Russian 750 mm gauge field railway in 1914 but dismantled six months later, relaid to 600 mm gauge by the Austrians in 1916, regauged by the PKP to 750 mm gauge in 1964 and closed in 1971.
