Copenhagen had the largest tramway network in Scandinavia, beginning with horse trams in 1863. The distinctive Lunding as well as Düsseldorf tram cars in dark yellow with white window frames plied the streets of the Danish capital until 1972. This comprehensive Danish history is commendably well illustrated with route maps and photographs, many of them in colour, and systematically describes the 20 routes as well as the vehicles. 180 pages 17x24 cm, ca 350 ill, hb.
