Gert Fält, Nils-Erik Prånge och några till förklarade att Frank 1982 tagit bilden från ett tåg på smalspårsbanan till Kurort Oberwiesenhal. Godståget är på väg norrut, smalspårståget söderut, och de har utfart parallellt västerut.
Jean-Pierre Helix and Ralf Kirion were among those identifying the location of Frank’s 1982 picture as Cranzahl, where narrow and standard gauge lines leave the station westwards, the narrow gauge turning south to Kurort Oberwiesenthal, the standard gauge north towards Flöha. Ralf points out that the lattice bridge has now been replaced by a girder bridge.
