In 1923-24, Hanomag built three 2-8-8-0 Mallets for the state Railways of the Dutch East Indies. This book is a series of photographs of their manufacture. It also gives a background of the Railways and of Hanomag, plus a facsimile of the relevant article in Hanomag Nachrichten. Photographs of their service is limited to the 1973 photos on the front and back cover. Parallell text in English, German and Dutch. 72 pages 30x21 cm, sb.
